Teen comes out to her parents in sweetest way possible (literally)
1/30/2013You could say that this teen girl's coming-out message took the cake — but, well, she already said that. A 15-year-old girl named Laurel baked a cake for her parents, icing it with the message "I'm Gay." She also left a handwritten note for them, filled with freshly baked puns like "It gets batter." But she sounded both sincere and terrified when she wrote that she hoped they would still love her after reading — and eating — her message. And they did. "We all ate the cake and talked," she later posted. "I am very [lucky] to have such supporting parents." [Source]
