So the going rate to make a teenager quit Facebook is $200

2/7/2013

How much would it take for you to give up Facebook? For one teenager in Wellesley, Mass., it took the princely sum of $200 to call it quits on the social networking site. Rachel Baier, 14, made a deal with her father, Paul, that if she spends five months without Facebook, he'll give her $50 in April and $150 in June. The pair signed a "Facebook Deactivation Agreement" and Paul has full access to her account. Interestingly, the deal was Rachel's idea. "She wants to earn money and also finds Facebook a distraction and a waste of time sometimes," said Paul. [Source]
