Teen swipes tomato plant he thought was marijuana
2/17/2012The first rule of stealing someone's marijuana plant is "don't run past their house yelling 'I have one of your pot plants!'" The second rule is "make sure you didn't swipe a tomato plant instead." According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, an unnamed teen (and, we're guessing, first-time thief) broke both rules when he climbed through Angela Cartwright's window and mistook her "Walmart tomatoes" for weed. Cartwright called the cops when she spotted him at a bus stop five days later. "I gave him the 'mother lecture'," she said. "I told him he should be in school." Like maybe in a botany class?
