Teenager finally cleans room, finds winning lottery ticket
3/4/2012Scottish 19-year-old Ryan Kitching finally gave in to his mother's demands that he clean his room and came across two lottery tickets worth a total of £52, 981 (about $83,900) in the process. "I was about to bin them, but at the last minute I got this strange feeling that I should get them checked," recounts the lucky lad. (Haven't we all felt an irresistible urge to do something else instead of finish cleaning?) Kitching plans to invest in a house, take his parents on holiday, and keep his room clean: "Next time she nags me to tidy my room I won't need telling twice."
