Teenagers sunbathe in street, unsurprisingly get hit by car
4/30/2012We've heard tanning can be bad for your health, but not like this. Two Pennsylvania 13-year-olds set up shop in the middle of a rural road to soak up some rays and reportedly dozed off on the asphalt. A car turned onto the street and ran them over. In a twist of fate, the 19-year-old driver is the cousin of one of the sunbathers. The girls are said to be in fair condition at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where they were taken by helicopter. We're glad they're OK, but we hope they pitch in for a beach pass to get them through the upcoming summer season.
What's the most interesting place you've ever sunbathed?
