10/12/2012Shoes already have tongues, and now they have teeth, too. Artists Mariana Fantich and Dominic Young transformed the standard dinner shoe by replacing its rubber sole with hundreds of teeth. (You'll be slightly less nauseated to hear that the 1,050 chompers in each pair of shoes come from dentures, not pulled from actual gums.) The shoes are part of Fantich and Young's "Apex Predator" line, which also includes a suit woven from human hair and has glass eyes instead of buttons.
