Tennessee threatens teachers promoting 'gateway' sex acts

You might not teach heavy petting, but can you stop it? Tennessee's governor signed a bill into law yesterday that bans teachers from condoning "gateway sexual activity" by students as part of its abstinence-based sex ed program. It's unclear what "gateway sexual activity" totally means, but as a general guide, handholding = good, junk-touching = bad. The bill sailed through Tennessee's legislature, but @sassygirl14 called it "pure craziness" and it was lampooned last month by Stephen Colbert, who called hormone-charged teens "mindless sex zombies," and snarked that "every child should sign a pledge promising not go to through puberty until after they are married." LOL. Is it too sexy to offer him a high-five?
