1/12/2013A man in North Carolina was arrested for stabbing a deaf man because he mistook the man's sign language for gang signs, police say. Terrance Daniels, 45, was walking down a street in the town of Burlington, speaking to another man using sign language when Robert Neal, 22, allegedly stabbed Daniels when he misunderstood Daniels' hand signals. Daniels was reported as in stable condition despite his wounds, and Neal was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and assault on a handicapped person. [Source]
