NFL player works low-wage fast-food job in off-season
2/23/2013If your job paid $390,000 a year, would you spend your vacation working for minimum wage? That's what NFL rookie Terrance Ganaway is doing this off-season. After joking on Twitter that he needed a job, the Rams running back is now making sandwiches at a Waco, Texas, Jimmy John's, while training for the team. Why go from helmet to hairnet? "1. I have too much free time. 2. Tell my kids [someday] I worked two jobs to put them through school. 3. Cause the pay is really good," he tweeted. He's not entirely joking. "I just wanted to stay fit, stay out of trouble ... try to save … and not spend a lot of money," he said.
