1/19/2013Two Utah workers found out the hard way what it means to work in an "at-will" employment state after their boss went on a newspaper's website and publicly crowed about dismissing them due to their support for President Obama: "We had to let two employees go to cover new Obongocare costs and increased taxes," wrote Terry Lee, owner of Terry Lee Forensics. "Found two Obongo supporters and gave them the news yesterday. They wanted the idiot in the [White House], they reap the benefits." No state or federal laws would protect employees against this sort of dismissal — unless they work for the government. [Source]
