Texas homeowner shoots, kills man trying to steal his SUV

Well, here's one good thing about owning a gun: You can shoot anyone who tries to steal your stuff. (At least in Texas, where defending your property with extreme prejudice is legal.) It was two in the morning when a San Antonio homeowner heard someone breaking into his SUV, which was parked outside. When the man approached his car, he "thought he spotted a gun" and opened fire, hitting the passenger. As the getaway driver tried to take off, the homeowner shot again, this time through the windshield, and killed him. No charges will be filed against the homeowner. [Source]
