Pileup involving an incredible 100 cars has killed two in Texas
11/23/2012Thanksgiving has proven tragic for a swath of motorists in Texas where an unbelievable 100-car pileup has killed two people, critically injured 8 more, and sent over 50 to the hospital. The massive collision is being reported on Interstate 10 near Beaumont, about 80 miles east of Houston, where intense fog descended on the highway. The man and woman who died were in an SUV that was crushed by a tractor trailer. Rescuers worked to pull survivors out of vehicles on a stretch that spanned for miles. Eastbound lanes are expected to stay closed most of the day. [Source]
