That's how much the North Texas Toll Authority says the Dallas woman owes for blowing through its electronic toll booths 8,366 times without paying her fair (or fare) share, via a transponder. And she's not the only serial scofflaw on Texas roads: 21 other brazen booth crashers purportedly owe more than $100,000 for driving through the electronic toll gates without valid transponders. The agency is trying to shame toll dodgers into making good, but is also threatening lawsuits and even hopes to prevent repeat violators from using those roads.
