'The Choice' lets nonfamous singles score dates with celebs
5/3/2012Wow, rip off "The Voice" much, "The Choice"? This new dating game, hosted by Cat Deeley, is slated to air this summer and involves four celebrities in rotating chairs, with their backs turned as sexy singles plead for a date, then they pull a "love handle" (bite your tongue!) to spin around and scope the single. If two celebrities pick the same single, the single gets to choose between them. This continues until each celebrity has three finalists, who then have 15 seconds to make their case for a dream date. Yeah, it sounds weirdly like streetwalkers begging a celebrity to let them jump in the limousine, but it'll be on Fox at 9 pm, so it can't get too steamy.
