The next Ford Mustang could look something like this

The Ford Mustang has recently played up its retro appeal to great sales success, but Detroit's iron horse is about to go modern, according to various reports from the automotive world. Rather than recalling the muscle car's heyday, unnamed sources say Ford will look to its futuristic Evos concept (shown above), first unveiled at last year's Frankfurt auto show, for an upcoming redesign. Why the change? The retro 'Stang has recently fallen behind the throwback Chevy Camaro in terms of sales, not to mention a complete overhaul will appeal to younger buyers -- not just those that remember Steve McQueen's '68 fastback Bullitt Mustang from the silver screen.
