Mom charged for letting toddler pump gas (which he didn't do well)
2/13/2013Perhaps Theresa Moran Camara simply wanted to teach her son some life skills. Or she’s just horribly lazy and irresponsible. Either way, the Pennsylvania woman is probably not going to win Mom of the Year honors anytime soon. She was charged with child endangerment after allegedly letting her three-year-old son pump gas last month. A witness told cops that he saw Moran Camara instructing her son how to fill the tank of her Toyota Rav4, and saw the boy doing so alone. Police say they confirmed that account after reviewing surveillance tapes. Moran Camara apparently didn’t do a bang-up job instructing the little guy — the boy apparently sprayed gas on himself as he removed the pump. [Source]
