Thief has a stolen puppy in his pants, isn't just happy to see you
7/27/2012Who let the dogs out of the Zoo-Rama pet store? That's what the police in Elmont, N.Y., are trying to find out. A criminal tag team entered the store, and while one distracted the owner by pretending to be interested in a pug puppy, the other made several attempts to open the cash register. When that didn't work, he decided to swipe a dog instead, shoving a two-pound Pomeranian down the front of his pants. The owners are offering a $500 reward for the safe return of the pup, valued at $1,000. Forget taking a bite out of crime: We're hoping that dog took a bite out of the criminal. [Source]
Should the store have been more vigilant?
