Idiot thieves steal $3.2M in artifacts, forget where they stashed them

It's a wonder Lee Wildman and Adrian Stanton didn't mislay the keys to the getaway car. As it was, they merely lost the loot: a 243-year-old jade bowl and a porcelain figurine valued at $3.2 million they lifted from the museum at Durham University in England. Wildman's agitated search for the misplaced goods in a waste area where they were stashed (and later found) aroused the suspicions of a witness, leading to the pair's arrest. Now, they'll serve lengthy prison sentences after being scolded by judge Christopher Prince for "crass ineptitude."
