This pic is the latest in rising trend of falling bear photos

America is suffering a new epidemic -- pictures of falling bears. Presumably this happened all the time before every passer-by had a camera-equipped smartphone at hand. Or maybe rampant development is creeping into bears' natural territory. Either way, this is the third photo of a falling bear to hit the Internet in the past six weeks. Hopefully this bear, who was stuck up a tree in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colo., and had to be tranquilized, will fare better than the one that kick-started the trend. That unlucky bear was struck and killed by a car not long after his photo was snapped.
