Three cops shot in New Jersey police station
12/28/2012Three cops were shot Friday morning inside a New Jersey police station, and authorities say the suspected shooter was also shot and killed. One male officer was shot twice, including once in the abdomen below his bullet-proof vest. He is in surgery this morning, and his condition is reported as serious but stable. Injuries to the other two officers were said to be minor. According to Deputy Chief David Harkins of the Gloucester Township force, the suspect was arrested, but a violent struggle with officers broke out. The suspect "obtained a firearm" during the struggle and officers "returned fire," killing the suspect. [Source]
