Three dead in shooting near Texas A&M; alleged gunman killed

A police constable and a civilian were killed today by a gunman at a home near the Texas A&M University campus. The suspected shooter was reportedly killed by SWAT officers responding to the scene. Two other officers and a woman were also injured, while another officer apparently sustained injuries at the scene, according to the Bryan-College Station Eagle. The officer killed during the incident has been identified as Constable Brian Bachmann, a deputy with the Brazos County Sheriff’s Department.
