Man sues after his already-beautiful dog dies while getting face-lift

2/15/2013

A Chinese man is suing for more than $141,000 after his Tibetan mastiff died during plastic surgery. Read that sentence again: The dog died during plastic surgery. The man, identified only as Mr. Yu, is a dog breeder who believed that a little nip and tuck would "make the dog more attractive to other dog-owners looking for a breeding partner." Unfortunately, the procedure was too much for the animal, whose fatal heart failure might've been caused by the anesthetic. The Tibetan mastiff has become a status symbol for the super-rich in China; Mr. Yu says he's suing for that amount because that's the price he originally paid for the dog. [Source]
