Grass always greener on this guy's side, because he paints it

Man, how about that drought? Homeowners trying to work around city-imposed watering bans during one of the driest summers on record have watched their carefully manicured lawns go to pot, including one Denver woman fined by her homeowner’s association for brown spots in her yard. Not Indiana’s Tim Birdwell, who pulled the ultimate pride-of-ownership ploy and painted his front lawn bright green. Because he can. Because he owns a paint company and happens to have access to a special waterproof turf spray. “We had the idea, let’s paint the grass, so here we are,” Birdwell says. “It definitely stands out, that’s about all I can say of it,” sniffs one of Birdwell’s neighbors.
