Tebow finds pastor's hate too hot to handle, backs out of appearance
2/21/2013Tim Tebow must have been so busy studying the Jets playbook that he never heard the message from the pulpit of pastor Robert Jeffress and said he'd visit Jeffress' church because, you know, it's a church. But now Tebow has pulled out of his April talk at First Baptist Dallas Church due to "new information that has been brought to my attention." That new info is most likely Jeffress' old stands on other religions as "heresy from the pit of hell" and homosexuality, which he has linked to pedophilia. The pastor's church issued a statement insisting their leader "shares a message of hope, not hate." And now he has to hope he can find a backup quarterback. [Source]
