Tebow's 'sexy Jesus' pose in GQ draws controversy
8/14/2012Tim Tebow, the Jets’ newly appointed second-string quarterback, is on the cover of GQ, which is controversial for a few reasons. No. 1: When was the last time you saw a second-string quarterback on the cover of a national magazine? No. 2: Inside the magazine, there are photos of Tebow posing shirtless in a way that kind of looks like Jesus on the cross. No. 3: The photos are recycled—GQ already ran them once when Tebow was the starting quarterback for the Florida Gators. After seeing the spread, Craig Carton, host of the WFAN sports radio show called Tebow a narcissist, fraud and "sexy Jesus." We’re wondering if the third is an insult. [Source]
