Tebow's secret broken ribs kept him out of Jets' Thanksgiving turkey

New York Jets fans chanted Tim Tebow's name, people watching the game at home chanted his name… hell, even Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was probably doing it. So why didn't Tebow get to take a few snaps while the Jets were being dismembered by the New England Patriots Thursday night? It turns out that America's Favorite Backup has two broken ribs, apparently suffered two weeks ago during a game against Seattle. "They need a little time to get better," Tebow said, noting that the injury has made it difficult to breathe.  "Confident that the Tebow broken ribs story will end with him telling the media that God took one to create Eve," NFL blogger Mike Tunison joked on Twitter.
