Tebow to speak at Dallas church led by hate-spewing pastor
2/15/2013The parishioners at First Baptist Church in Dallas will have a celebrity guest in April when NFL curiosity Tim Tebow plans to drop in to share his Christian faith. The church's pastor, the Rev. Robert Jeffress, has carved out a big name for himself with a virulent stand against Barack Obama, gays and rival religions. Among other things, Jeffress has said that "70 percent of the gay population" has AIDS and has denounced Islam, Judaism and Mormonism as religions "from the pit of hell." Speaking of the pit of hell, Tebow should be free of the New York Jets soon, with hopes of being picked up by someone other than a Texas church. [Source]
