NASA has released a time-lapse video of Earth from an orbiting satellite, and the result is probably the most stunning video you'll see all year. The northern lights, the southern lights, the moon, the sun, a comet -- it's all there, and all part of the remarkable universe in which we are but tiny parts. Commenters on YouTube are taking the opportunity to tear each other to shreds over climate change, but these images are poetry that transcends politics.
