Small things are always cuter. Especially when they're small versions of things that are typically large and somewhat dangerous, like marlins, which can weigh more than half a ton and cause real headaches (and occasionally other kinds of aches) for fishermen wrestling with them on the other end of a line. They can even sink boats. But not this little guy! Richard Brackett caught him recently near Charleston, S.C., and had to photograph him because look at his little fins! The Billfish Foundation has lauded this as a particularly rare occurrence: "The chance in encountering a blue marlin is quite a feat, but seeing one this small is extremely rare," the group wrote on its website Friday. Brackett was so taken with his pint-sized catch that he released the little guy, hoping that he'll grow up to one day be a hellion on the other end of a line. But he'll always be this small in our eyes. *Sniff* [Source]
