Tiny stray puppy completes 1,056-mile bike race in China
5/26/2012Move over, Lance Armstrong. You've got some serious competition for greatest endurance athlete, and it comes in the form of a four-legged ball of fur. "Xiaosa," as the tenacious little pup's been nicknamed, is a stray dog who joined a 1,056-mile bike race in China after one of the racers gave him food. The little dog is only knee-high and barely reaches the bike spokes; however, he managed to keep up with the cyclists for an incredible 20 days, running alongside for up to 37 miles a day and climbing 12 mountains. The athletically inclined pup is being adopted by one of the racers, who said he doesn't think they could have made the grueling journey without Xiaosa's enthusiasm.
What would you have named the dog?
