Firefighters rescue adventurous toddler stuck in washing machine2/19/2013
In addition to putting security gates at the top of staircases, safety latches on drawers and bumpers on coffee-table corners, here's one household precaution parents may not have thought of: padlocking the washing machine so your kid doesn't get stuck in it. Firefighters were summoned to free the little girl, who was trapped from the waist down, using power tools. They distracted her with candy, but it's probably safe to say nothing was as sweet as the heartfelt "thank you" the girl gave her rescuers after she'd been liberated. [Source]
