Look, Tom Hanks is a cool guy. He'll pose with fans in goofy photos and even slam "Full House" via poetry. But none of it was enough to save the guy's latest movie, "Cloud Atlas," which bombed in its opening weekend and proved to be one of Hanks' weakest debuts ever. So why did no one choose to see the movie that starred Hanks along with Halle Berry and Hugh Grant and was directed by the team that brought us "The Matrix"? Industry analysts speculate it could have been Hurricane Sandy or Halloween parties, but our guess is that if you need to release a five-minute trailer to explain your movie, but all it does is confuse people more, they aren't gonna show up in theaters.
