Ultra-weenie former congressman won't smoke up after all
1/29/2013We had, um, high expectations when ex-Congressman Tom Tancredo swore he'd make good on a bet to smoke up if Colorado's law legalizing recreational pot use passed. It did — but now Tancredo is reminding us why everyone thinks politicians lie. Turns out the teetotaler has had a change of heart. "My wife is absolutely — she’s pissed," he says. "Oh man, she is not happy." Despite his conservative roots, Tancredo had supported passage of the voter referendum, arguing that it would lead to less government interference.
