R&B diva Toni Braxton hospitalized with lupus complications12/8/2012
Toni Braxton, unbreak our hearts — say you’re not in the hospital with lupus issues! The ‘90s R&B star, perhaps best known for singing "Unbreak My Heart," the world’s saddest breakup ballad, is indeed in the hospital with complications from lupus. The potentially fatal autoimmune disorder runs in her family and killed her uncle. On Friday, the 45-year-old singer tweeted that she'd been hospitalized due to "minor health issues" related to lupus. She also reassured fans, "But no worries! I will be out any day now." Braxton first divulged her diagnosis 2 years ago, and says her ailment pushed her over the edge into another round of financial-Issues-like-whoa — she’s filed for bankruptcy twice in the past 15 years.
