Guess how much the tooth fairy leaves under pillows now?

2/28/2013

In news that will have some parents feeling like suckers and others like cheapskates, a survey conducted by a nonprofit dental organization has determined that the average chunk of change the tooth fairy tucks beneath a kid's pillow is $2.42. That 2012 figure is up from the 2011 average, $2.10, according to the Delta Dental Plans Association, so it appears the tooth fairy (not to mention her parental minions) has been feeling a bit more flush of late. Hope she's got some deep pockets built into those glittery gossamer wings — and that no one tells this to the kids. [Source]
