Watch a tornado do some last-minute Christmas shopping at Walgreens

12/27/2012

Mobile, Ala., got an unwelcome Christmas gift when a tornado touched down near a shopping center on Christmas Day. One of the twisters was recorded by surveillance cameras at a local Walgreens, and you can see that shoppers quickly move away from the front of the store as debris starts swirling around the parking lot. (Well, except for the guy in the plaid shirt, who steps calmly backwards. Maybe he thought that if he didn't make any sudden movements, the tornado wouldn't see him.) Despite the scary situation, Walgreens employee Josh Holman said they got back to work as soon as the storm passed. "[We made] it look like nothing happened," he said. “Normal hours 24/7. That’s what we do." [Source]
