Toronto police sued for targeting women with hairy legs

Word to the wise, ladies. If you’re headed to Toronto, shave your legs. A group of Canadian protesters filed a $1.4 million lawsuit against the Toronto police Wednesday, alleging that cops profiled, arrested and mishandled them during the G20 summit in June 2010 because the women in the group had hairy gams. One plaintiff said officers told her to shave her legs, while another one indulged in a “swift ass grab” while searching her. Further bolstering that claim, the arresting officer wrote "all parties appear to be protesters; back packs; clothing and females all have hairy legs."
