Travelers would rather lose wedding rings than phones
6/22/2012There's few things worse than venturing into an unfamiliar corner of the world and realizing you've lost something. More Americans would prefer that "something" to be their wedding ring than their mobile computing device, according to a new survey on travel and technology. And those devices don't just outrank jewelry. They're also more important than personal hygiene. Almost two-thirds of respondents said they'd take toiletries, hair dryers and even shoes out of their luggage to make space for their gadgets. We're so addicted to our toys that not taking them with us can ruin a vacation: 87 percent of young adults reported feeling happier when traveling with a laptop, tablet or a cellphone.
Which would you rather lose on vacation: your wedding ring or your cellphone?
