TV icon Andy Griffith has already been buried
7/4/2012Boy, that was fast: Andy Griffith may have just died today — but a representative for a North Carolina funeral home says the TV icon has already been buried, just hours after his death. Apparently the 86-year-old TV legend was buried this morning on his family farm on Roanoke Island. Griffith was warmly remembered around the web today as the star of two iconic shows, born of very different periods: the homespun "Andy Griffith Show" of the 1960s, and the twinkle-in-his-eye defense attorney of "Matlock," 20 years later.
Which Andy Griffith will you miss: "The Andy Griffith Show" or "Matlock"?
