Twitter fails in its attempt to kill Internet's cutest dog Boo

Boo, the "world's cutest dog," lives on -- despite news of her death on Twitter. Gizmodo writer Sam Biddle tweeted "Boo The Dog Has Died" yesterday evening, alarming fans of the six-year-old Pomeranian, who has more than four million Facebook fans and a book deal with Chronicle Books. Subsequent reports, falsely credited to the New York Times, specified that the dog had met her end in a duck pond. Once again, though, the Twitter obituary proved to be groundless, with Boo herself reporting via Facebook that she "would like all my friends to know that I am happy and kickin'!"
