Twitter hearts One Direction. The British boy band had the Twitterverse all agog Monday morning in anticipation of the group's appearance on NBC's "TODAY" show. As the breakthrough band prepped to take the stage in New York's Rockefeller Center, "#OneDirectionTODAY" was a top Twitter topic, trending in one direction: up. Crowds flocking to watch the cute-boy singing phenoms in concert weren't only virtual: Teenage fans reportedly began gathering in Rock Center on Friday. "Crazy teen scene for #onedirection on plaza," TODAY correspondent Jeff Rossen tweeted. "Manager told me it's ALL social media. Most radio stations didn't play them till last week."
