Twitter users ask if the Titanic was real

Prolific tweeter @boring_as_heck went on a binge yesterday, retweeting posts that asked if the sinking of the Titanic was, in fact, real. We've included some of the alarming tweets above. A Tumblr user also posted a screenshot of the RT rampage, and it was flying around Monday, prompting this response from @bazlyons: "Hey people who just realised Titanic is based on a real event Planet of the Apes is going to blow your mind." Thank you for that, so we can laugh to keep from crying.
