Twitterverse explodes with release of Freeh report

7/12/2012

The eagerly-awaited "Freeh Report" on Penn State's behavior throughout the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal hit the Internet early this morning, and the Twitterverse exploded within seconds. Joe Paterno's family and the school said they didn't fear what would be coming in the report, but clearly they should have. Freeh's incredibly damning report found that top execs at the school, including the revered Paterno, knew what was going on and did absolutely nothing to protect the boys who were raped by Sandusky or those he potentially was grooming for future abuse. Tweeps were rightfully outraged, with many calling for the NCAA "death penalty." You've got a lot of cleanup to do, PSU.
