Two men disrupt Santorum's speech on values by kissing

3/17/2012

Fifteen minutes into presidential hopeful Santorum's speech at the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, Ill., two men shouted for the attention of the 2,000-plus attendees and then kissed. They then swiftly exited the hall, followed by security personnel, as the crowd cheered "U-S-A! U-S-A!" As @Edwardrip tweeted, "... How frightening that the crowd starts shouting, "USA. USA?" What does that make LGBT Americans?" Timothy Tross and Ben Clifford, the pair who locked lips, declined to discuss their sexuality after the incident. "I don't think the message should be about what my sexuality is," Tross said. "It's the message that he's saying about sexuality that matters." The kissing starts three minutes and thirty seconds into the video above.
