Ultra-rare 1957 Ferrari sells for $6.5 million in Monaco
5/16/2012Shhh, don't tell the 99 percent: In Monaco, an ultra-wealthy buyer has ponied up just under $6.5 million for this 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider, one of only two ever built. The elephantine price tag also includes another engine -- a 2.5-liter four-cylinder mill originally meant for racing purposes. The original 3.0-liter V12 produces just 320 horsepower (which is 50 hp less than a modern Dodge Charger R/T selling for "just" $30 grand).
