Newly released University of Colorado emails reveal Aurora shock
12/6/2012By court order, the University of Colorado in Denver has released thousands of emails relating to James Holmes, accused of shooting up an Aurora theater in July. While much of the information was blacked out for privacy reasons, the emails offer insight into the faculty's response hours after the shooting. One professor noted that graduate neuroscience student Holmes briefly had a girlfriend who was in India at the time of the shooting, but otherwise had few friends. The emails illustrate the shock and fear of the university community as they struggled to make sense of the massacre which saw 12 killed and 58 injured. [Source]
