[UPDATED] Man builds human bird wings, takes flight

After a running start flapping his self-made "wings," Jarno Smeets finally takes off and flies for over 100 meters in the above video. Smeets, a mechanical engineer from the Netherlands, started working on his wings eight months ago, according to TechCrunch. "The true feeling of flying. A f*cking magical moment!" he says. "The best feeling I have felt in my life."

UPDATE: Smeets, whose real name is Floris Kaayk, has told a Dutch TV show that the video is a hoax.
