Vain women get 'toe jobs' to wear stilettos in comfort

4/25/2012

If you're wondering how women survive all day in excruciatingly high stilettos, they may do it with a little help from their friendly plastic surgeon. Style-conscious gals are rushing out for toe jobs so they can totter a la Katy Perry in comfort. Using a procedure nicknamed a "Loub job" after self-proclaimed comfort hater Christian Louboutin, doctors inject dermal filler into ladies' toes, heels and balls of the feet for about $600. The extra padding supposedly makes wearing those 7-inch killers just a little bit easier. Unfortunately, the results only last about six months, so count on getting more than one round of injections if those spikes stay in fashion.
