Vain women get 'toe jobs' to wear stilettos in comfort
4/25/2012If you're wondering how women survive all day in excruciatingly high stilettos, they may do it with a little help from their friendly plastic surgeon. Style-conscious gals are rushing out for toe jobs so they can totter a la Katy Perry in comfort. Using a procedure nicknamed a "Loub job" after self-proclaimed comfort hater Christian Louboutin, doctors inject dermal filler into ladies' toes, heels and balls of the feet for about $600. The extra padding supposedly makes wearing those 7-inch killers just a little bit easier. Unfortunately, the results only last about six months, so count on getting more than one round of injections if those spikes stay in fashion.
Will you suffer in the name of fashion or only wear comfortable shoes?
