Hungry trio abducts van driver, makes him take them to McDonald's

We all understand the urgency of the occasional Big Mac attack, but three 20-something dudes in New Zealand took the concept way too far last week. Police say a peckish trio abducted a 20-year-old security van driver and demanded that he take them to a nearby McDonald's for a snack, and then home again. "He did as he was told," a detective said, adding that — apart from hunger — the group's motive was unknown, as was what they ordered or whether they treated their alleged victim to any grub. After dropping off his captors, who had no weapons, the driver alerted police about his hour-long ordeal. He's reportedly been offered victim support — and hopefully some fries. [Source]
