If your Facebook feed told you that Vanilla Ice was killed in a car accident, we're pleased to report that he's still alive, still capable of waxing a chump like a candle. Ice, born Robert Van Winkle, is the latest celeb "killed" by Global Associated News. The company's legal but seriously distasteful MO is to score clicks through celebrity death posts. Attempting to read one of its stories takes you to its website, which bills itself as a "fake news hoax generator."
"IM ALIVE!" Vanilla Ice tweeted on Monday morning. "I have like 30 texts, from mom family and friends." Somebody get word to his mother.
